These sites may impact any subsufrace works, sepcifically development applications where it may result in geotechnical and hydrogeological work for the applicant, including structural stability and dewatering implications. The Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) has requested that Regional staff share this information with development proponents. The Regional Municipality of York shares this information via the development application and review process by issuing a cautionary memo for developments that could potentially need temporary and/or permanent dewatering.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN /></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
