Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN><SPAN>A Community Safety Zone (CSZ) is a designation under the Ontario Highway Traffic Act that is intended to increase awareness and traffic safety on roadways in community sensitive areas such as schools, community centres, seniors’ centres and high pedestrian traffic areas. Locations established in York Region must adhere to the criteria of the Region’s CSZ Warrant Policy, and be enacted as a bylaw through Regional Council. Within the dataset, individual CSZs are identified by the ZoneID, and have been split into multiple segments (Part x of Y), to coincide with Regional Road segments (RINs).</SPAN></SPAN></P><P><SPAN /></P><P /><P STYLE="margin:0 0 7 0;"><SPAN /></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
